LEADNEXT Youth

LEADNext Youth is a transformative leadership program designed to empower high school students in grades 9 through 12 with the tools, skills, and knowledge needed to excel as future leaders in their communities and beyond. Through interactive workshops, mentorship opportunities, and hands-on experiences, participants develop critical skills in leadership, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.

The program emphasizes cultural awareness, community engagement, and personal growth, creating a strong foundation for academic and career success. As students transition to college, they can become LEADNext Ambassadors, serving as mentors and role models for younger participants while continuing to develop their leadership journey. These ambassadors play a key role in inspiring others, fostering connections, and representing the program’s mission of empowering future leaders.

LEADNext Youth Fundraising Program empowers students to take charge of their educational and career growth by raising funds for future opportunities. Every dollar a student raises is directly deposited into a personal account dedicated to supporting their development. These funds can be used for camps, conferences, workshops, clinics, certification programs, admissions tests, educational supplies, and other related expenses.

This initiative encourages students to invest in their future while developing valuable skills in financial responsibility, goal setting, and community engagement. With LEADNext Youth, students lead in building a brighter future for themselves!

Civil Air Patrol - Encampment

The encampment is the cadets’ major introduction to Air Force service traditions and career opportunities and is a pre-requisite for the Mitchell Award. As cadets of the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary, your training will emphasize not only leadership and character but fitness and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) as you explore career opportunities in those areas and so much more.

Specifically, our goal is to inspire you to

• develop leadership skills,

• learn about aviation, space, and technology,

• commit to a habit of regular exercise, and

• live the Core Values.

Nursing Camp

Attendees will gain essential insights into the nursing field, including learning vital patient care skills like wound care, assessing patients, taking vital signs, and understanding medical terminology. The curriculum emphasizes the importance of effective communication, the integration of anatomy, physiology, and math in patient care, and real-world applications through hospital visits and interactions with human patient simulators.
